At Merovexa we respect your privacy and protect your personal data in accordance with Law No. 172-13 on Personal Data Protection of the Dominican Republic. This document explains what information we collect, for what purpose and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Merovexa SRL, tax ID (RNC) 1-32-98765-4, with registered office at Av. Winston Churchill No. 1099, Torre Citi, Floor 15, Piantini, Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. You can contact us at privacy@merovexa.com.
2. Data we collect
Through the subscription form we collect your name and email address. In addition, through cookies and similar technologies we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, country of connection and pages visited within merovexa.com.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to send you informational communications about real estate crowdlending projects in the Dominican Republic, measure site audience, improve the browsing experience and comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your express consent when completing the subscription form and accepting this Privacy Policy, as well as on Merovexa's legitimate interest to operate the site and comply with regulatory requirements.
5. Data retention
Your data will be retained while your subscription remains active and up to a maximum of twenty-four (24) months after your last interaction. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
6. Recipients
We do not sell your personal data. It may be shared only with technical service providers acting as data processors (transactional email, analytics, hosting) under strict confidentiality obligations.
7. Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, objection, cancellation and portability. To do so, write to privacy@merovexa.com attaching a copy of your ID document. You may also file complaints with the competent National Authority.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorized access or misuse, including TLS encryption in communications and access control to internal systems.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes. The current version will always be available at merovexa.com/en/privacy-policy with its last-updated date.
